Yes and no. Well ok... yes. But sometimes wanting more is toxic. Sometimes it is completely reasonable.

If you have a partner that doesn't show affection, just takes or goes through motions (work, eat, sleep) is it so wrong to desire "more" from the relationship?

Which is different from if you give time and attention and financially contribute and communicate and strive for a good relationship but it's "not enough".

So yes.. it is a reason. But context always plays a part in whether that's right or wrong.

Why do you disagree? A lot of relationships end because one partner becomes selfish and thinks they deserve better than what’s right in front of them , Cheating occurs mainly for selfish reasons as well. So relationships mainly last when 2 people choose each other over everyone else in this world , if the both of you make each other your top priority , if not , then your relationship will probably not last and end. That person wanted more than you could give because they are selfish
