Why do some people get in a relationship (even get married) and have kids with other races?

Even I've found myself doing this once. One of my past ex boyfriend was Japanese. We broke up for other reasons. I think if his parents weren't meddling we would've had kids. They would've probably all gotten his features he had the dominant genes and isn't mixed.

But honestly people have even immigrated to reproduce with other races for many years. Some people get in a relationship and marry other races even today. Why is that?

By mixing with other races, you get a chance to actually learn about different cultures and traditions along the way. It can be enriching how most of us are actually either biracial or interracial. Frankly I see nothing wrong with your question. My indigenous ancestors have been mixing with whites Europeans, Asians, etc for so many years.

It reminds me of mixing different types of ice-cream. Instead of eating regular vanilla and strawberry, it's great to try chocolate chips with mint.

Thank you. I like the analogy of the ice-cream part. I learned about bonsai (the art of growing small trees) when I dated my Japanese boyfriend back then, a couple Japanese self-defense names for techniques as well as the emphasis of bowing when you're a tourist to show respect.

It's quite interesting learning about different cultures and traditions along the way. For instance I'm ok with eating beef at times but in India, most people refrained from it. A cow is considered sacred there.

In my opinion, you've gotten valid answers. Only reason NOT to date outside your race is if you're a racist. That you can't understand why two individuals would enter a relationship together just because their skin colour doesn't match, is quite telling of who you are. I'm signing off now. I have no problems dating outside my race again and would do it if attracted to him. I don't mind traveling if I had more money and vacation.
