Yes I agree --> at least one of you.
Positive personality means affecting not being affected. So if the better personality affects the other the relationship grows better as the worse gets better and so the loop for both.
And the one with weaker or lower personality can be a little bad, undisciplined to some extent. But it kind of has a level until when a person has to rather be controlled like an animal or machine and not given the choice.
A pretty face gets you in the door, but no one will stay with you for very long if you have a terrible personality. At most they might put up with you for anfew years if they really love the fact that you are super hot and they have low self esteem or something, but I'd hardly call that a great relationship.
What is a great personality to you? Extrovert? Outgoing? Someone great at a certain skill or interested in a certain hobby you find boring?
sure, opposites attract but some people find comfort and familiarity in people like themselves and they would find that in itself as a great personality
Understanding, patient, caring, puts in effort into the relationship, hardworking, etc.
Conversely, not abusive, doesn't blame you for their shortcomings, isn't a narcissist, lazy, etc.
Personality traits that affect the relationship obviously.
Anyone who has the personality traits in the latter need to work on their inner demons before jumping into a relationship. This category doesn’t count as the opposite of great at all, hence why this question is unrealistic
Not trying to offend, but that was a whole lot of words for such a little amount of logic. There are plenty of people with negative traits like that in relationships. And not everyone that's in a relationship has the positive qualities I mentioned. Therefore, this question is definitely realistic.
So I suppose two narcissists make a right which means they have a great relationship
Got it 👍
Is your reading comprehension lacking? When did I imply that? 😂
All I implied was that there are people with negative personality traits that are in relationships, making the question valid and "realistic".
I don’t feel like certain people should be in relationship due to their toxic negativity personality traits
Negative *
I agree, but they're still out there... in relationships. My question isn't whether they should or shouldn't be in relationships. My question is whether or not someone with a bad personality can have a great relationship.
Then it’s obvious that the ones in a great relationship have great personalities
Agreed and that's my opinion, but I ask these questions to see what people think, regardless of how stupid they may seem to me. The answers people give are sometimes surprising
I just reread what I wrote.. i seem all over the place, I need to go to bed. And ah… I see your tactic now. Well! Nice to know we both agree. Sweet dreams
No worries. Goodnight 😊
Probably true.. since I can't find a partner.. the most recent guy I liked said it's not your looks it's your personality lol.

That SHOULD be the case, but we all know it's not. Many people with wonderful hearts and souls are single while others with hearts made of coal are somehow able to land "the good ones" and maintain relationships (though the condition of the relationships isn't always what I'd consider mentally or emotionally healthy).
I know some couples where one partner has a poor personality, yet the couple has a great relationship.
What's most important in a relationship is compatibility, not personality.
I think it mostly depend on your partner you can have a bad personality but if your partner if a perfect fit the relationship will work and be great. Everyone is different. My parents fought a lot (physically too) when I was a very small child but they still had a great relationship and loved each other, never divorced, still love each other.
I think a good relationship depend mainly on wether or not your partner is compatible with you. Not necessarily dependent of great or "bad" personality, unless the person is like a abusive psychopath getting off on hurting other badly.
I think this is like saying you cannot have a great relationship if you are not beautiful.
To me the bedrock of a great relationship is shared values and great character traits. I do like girls with bright amusing personalities but a relationship is not going to last long if she doesn't have good character traits.
That is not even close to comparable 😂
Especially if the two just gel at first sight or are lusting with personality over time ; hell what even is first sight anyhow lol "I was daydreaming" lol 😆 says one or the other "🤔😋"
Pretty difficult if you don't have a good personality yourself , you'd certainly be up against it to succeed in a relationship.
100000000% pretty faces fade, love and laughter last forever
We're all attracted to looks to an extent. It's a biological attraction. Anyone who says otherwise is lying. Yes pretty faces fade, but we're all young once. Why not try to look our best in our youth? It doesn't mean that's ALL we love someone for.
Obviously but would you want to date a beautiful woman with a horrible personality
I'd want to date a woman I found at least somewhat physically attractive with a good personality
At least one person so they can influence the other person
I disagree there's a lot of relationships built on very basic instincts.
I've seen terrible personalities have relationships.
Disagree. If you don’t have a great personality, you just take it for granted.
One with a less than great personality can have a great relationship if the other partner is selfless.
There’s all sorts of good people in the world that end up in bad relationships so I’d be inclined to disagree
Disagree. Trump's a POS, but Melania's still with him
Pretty much
Different strokes for different folks.
Seems like a non-sequitur.
