Would you forgive if your husband wanted to divorce you for being a rape victim but then apologized (only because his mother convinced him)?

What do you think of this?

I saw an episode where a wife wouldn't let their daughter enter ballet school. She suffered a dramatic event of being raped by her former ballet teacher as a kid. Only her mother knew later on but she kept this a secret.

Finally when she admits it to her husband, instead of being supportive... he walks away, scolds her and is disgusted by not being the first man. He was too focused on the ''you're tainted'' part and nearly wanted to proceed with a divorce. His own mother was very ashamed of her son's attitude. Though he only apologized because his mother talked him out of it. He wouldn't have done it on his own account. The former school finally gets arrested when she reports him and he does it to again to the daughter's friend.

Even though it's a ficitious episode, real cases like this does happens. Honestly I would not forgive him. He wanted divorce and his own mother had to talk him out of it. How is being raped being tainted? That's out of someone's control. I would find that attitude and him walking away unforgivable.

Yes, I'll forgive
No, totally unforgivable
