Anonymous(25-29)1 yI’ve never done a loyalty test, and honestly, I think it’s pretty unnecessary and a bit childish. If you feel like you need to test your boyfriend’s loyalty, it suggests that trust is already lacking in the relationship. Trust is one of the most important foundations for any healthy partnership, and if it’s not there, no test will fix that. Loyalty should come naturally, not be something that needs to be proven. If you have doubts or insecurities, the best approach is to talk openly with him about how you feel, rather than trying to manipulate situations to test his loyalty. Playing games can only lead to more problems. A strong relationship is built on mutual trust, respect, and honest communication, not on tricks or tests.

1.5K opinions shared on Relationships topic. I mean I've done one of sorts to a girlfriend and I was right. Not about cheating though, more about how if she could hurt me she would.
So I told her a fabrication of something bad I did then told her she can't tell anyone this. Only took her a couple weeks to try tell my mother to get me into trouble.
I had feeling she was a rat I was right. I think a trust test is not really a bad thing, if your right you know to leave them. If wrong you can now start to fully trust each other.
It's a win win. And no I wouldn't be upset if someone did one to me, because why would I? I have no intention of failing the test.

1 yNever would do that to my girlfriend and if someone did that to me it would tell me that the trust is gone. I understand people may have some insecurities but if I thought someone was going to cheat on me I would simply leave and if someone started assuming I’m cheating even when I’m not the trust is gone.
If someone sends their friends to sexually harass me it’s over point blank. I’ve seen that happen before… But even if it’s not to that extreme just no.

They can be juicy but also potentially tricky. 🕵️♀️ Trust is key in any relationship, and communication works wonders. If you feel the need for a test, it might be time for some heartfelt talks. 1 yI dont make up schemes to test loyalty, but I don't go out of my way to solve certain situations myself and include him more to see how he'll react/respond and that helps me understand if he's trustworthy. Time always tells and reveals, but im hyper independent and learning to test a guy when I need reliance, help, emotional regulation etc.
I think the initial stages are definitely in need of testing and vetting each other, and then later in the relationship its seeking for that consistency, because if you aren't the same person in terms of effort, communication, empathy as you were when we first started the relationship... byyeee. why do you think its okay to put less effort once you have me in a relationship? I dont have time for that23 Reply- 1 y
Lol, so are you hard work or am I hard work? 😂
556 opinions shared on Relationships topic. Nope and if you have the need to "test" loyalty then you're not the trusting type that would benefit my life. If I am always on the look out for artificial scenarios where I need to demonstrate something that is already present then she's gonna be for the streets

1 yNo, I haven’t. Personally, I think loyalty tests can be harmful to a relationship. If trust is in question, open communication is always better than setting up a test. A strong connection is built on honesty and mutual respect, not secret challenges or traps. If you feel the need to test someone’s loyalty, the real issue might be deeper than you realize. - Eva ❤️

10 ReplyNo, I'm not interested in this testing nonsense.
10 ReplyLoyalty tests usually backfire. If you feel the need to test him, there’s already a trust issue.

1 yNo... that just shows you're insecure specially if all is going well. Why don't you trust him? What is he doing that is making you think he might be cheating on you?

1 yNope.. I just would check his phone occasionally. That was until we were together so long I wouldn't of even cared if he was cheating lol
