Two people's marriages ended. One was a great wife. The other was divorced by his wife. Both were loyal to their spouses. Does loyalty matter to you?

Thank you for your opinions. But is loyalty down so far on the list that it doesn't seem to matter if a person is 100% loyal - otherwise these two examples of these divorced people would still be married. Right?

Yes it matters to me , especially in a monogamous relationship. If a girl doesn’t want to be monogamous with me , then I will not get into a relationship with her period

I understand that loyalty is a top priority. But these two people were 100% loyal and their marriages still ended in divorce.
So my point is that even though someone is loyal to you - it's not the glue that keeps you together.
There are other factors at play here and loyalty from the other person isn't enough to keep you together.
So what are those other things that seem to override loyalty and makes them want to move on?

Yea it takes more than just loyalty to make a relationship last. Sadly some people just get bored or they feel like they are missing out from things , if the passion they once had disappeared , that can be a big reason a partner wants to walk away , because they don’t feel wanted or appreciated by their partner anymore , their is no excitement or thrill of being together , it just becomes the same old thing , especially to someone that has a hard time being content. Selfishness is one of the biggest reasons relationships fail , if one partner is selfish and feels they are missing out on things , they will automatically lose interest in their partner and think they deserve something better than what they already have right in front of them. Why a lot of people these days do no want to get married because shit like this happens a lot.

Loyalty is one of the most important aspects of a relationship and always will be. There are other aspects that make a relationship successful, but loyalty is always going to be one of the most important
