Is there ever a reason for cheating that you would consider “reasonable”?

I can think of a couple reasons that might be in the grey area but none that I would consider as a good justification for cheating. Some example: being stuck in an abusive relationship, revenge cheating, being stuck in an arranged marriage - still all of these reason doesn’t justify cheating but I can still somewhat understand the reasoning behind it.

Yes there are reasons why people cheat , but they aren’t justified for their actions , if their partner doesn’t agree with them or give their consent to them. The cheater might feel justified for their actions , but there is always consequences for their actions because cheating is a selfish act period , basically anything you can do without your partners’ consent , makes you a cheater or a liar. Unfortunately cheating happens more than we like to think it does because pretty much every single one of us has selfishness in ourselves , if you can’t remove selfishness for your partner , then you shouldn’t get into a relationship period. If you are that unhappy in a relationship? End it with them , don’t string them along for your own selfish benefit. But sadly people do this shit a lot because they like their cake and they like to eat it to. I notice so many couples that aren’t sexually satisfied in their relationship, end up cheating to fulfill what they are missing in their current relationship and claim they still love their partner

Cheating is never an honourable thing to do. But it's forgivable if they are in an abusive relationship. Nobody is perfect and some people deserve to be forgiven, while others do not deserve to be forgiven.
