I am currently having a difficult time in my relationship. My boyfriend 26 and I 28 f we have been together 3 years are not communicating very good. He works construction and he loves his job but he barely communicates with me he always says he's too tired to talk to me but he gets off work at 4 every day and then I try to text him ( his preferred contact method) around 4 and he won't text me back until 9 or if at all and it's really depressing me. When I try to bring it up he says im being needy. Also when I call him like once every other week he's out at a restaurant with coworkers and says he will call me back but never does. I want to ask him to quit but again that voice in the back of my head says im being selfish. Another thing I should add is i moved 1 state over for him to be closer to his last job and im nowhere near my friends and family so I'm particularly lonely and depressed but he doesn't understand or want to understand. I have the feeling I should breakup with him but I still have a little hope for us but I don't know what to do.

Dump him.. My dad worked construction for years and still does and he is 60.. My dad always had energy to work on his vehicles, ride 4 wheelers, go drinking with his work buddies, chill and watch tv with us, work in his shed, play with us outside.. You are not a priority to this dude and he is lazy and blowing you off.
