Yup. If someone is spreading lies (intentionally) or misinformation (unintentionally) I will correct them on the spot, publicly. The exception would be anything where the misconception is trivial and unimportant and often hilarious. Those tend to be things that anyone with a brain will never believe anyway. And frankly it can be exhausting correcting all the stupid I encounter.

It depends. If what they are doing wrong has safety implications, I correct them.

If they are using an ambiguous or incorrect term and therefore someone could misinterpret what they say, I correct them. They're not always happy when I do that.

Otherwise, I leave them alone.

Depends on how badly they needed the correction. If it’s something crossing the line like cheating or scamming then I would call them out. But otherwise, if they’re an adult, they got to learn to face the consequences of their stupid decisions.

It just depends on what the violation is about. Like if someone is spreading a rumor or lies about something that's very important I'm going to call them out on that. I can be pretty blunt sometimes. That's just how I am.
