As most of those that answered stated, you need both to have a healthy relationship.

Since you placed this question under the "Relationships" topic, I presume that you are referring to those people that are in a relationship. Since I am not in such a relationship and have no urge or need to be in one in the foreseeable future (30+ years), then I would much rather be loved than to love. This way, I protect myself from feelings that bring a lot of heartbreaks and issues when this love is being misused, either by cheating or any other reason that make people fall out of love and that become indifferent or even hostile.
