Why do people in relationships say "no one needs a relationship" when giving advice?

It feels like people in relationships are pulling the ladder up behind them by being unhelpful to those trying to find relationships.

It's so odd, when I ask for advice and in all the advice posts, it's the majority of comments. When I ask about it, people act like it never has been uttered ever.

How you manage to only ever see helpful advice and avoid ever having been told bad or unhelpful advice? Like you seem to always be flabbergasted that people don't have perfect experiences in everything they ever do.

Ok anon. First off I don't gaslight anyone on this site or in real life. Second how am I a garbage human being? And to answer the question there are people who give terrible relationship advice on this site.
