Yes my first boyfriend. He wasn’t my type by any means but he made me laugh and happy. I loved him for who he is as a person. Our relationship lasted 6 years, while there were moments where I wished he would look different and closer to my type, I still find him cute. Our relationship wasn’t as sexually charged, but it was built on friendship, romance and mutual respect. It was still fulfilling, but if I’m being honest, sex just hits different when you’re with someone you’re deeply attracted to.

For me, someone can be good looking but I’m not necessarily attracted to them. Good looks aren’t everything. But I have to be physically attracted, which is determined by an X factor which I can’t pinpoint. I don’t have a specific type, what I’m attracted to ranges.

I agree. I think for MANY men physical appearance attraction is very fleeting and the soul and personality of the person as well as how they treat them is the real hook. Like a magnetism that they have where it's puzzling that someone could be nothing hot in a picture but radiant when you meet them.
