Partner with bad hygiene?

I notice my partner has BAD plaque build up on their teeth… they NEVER floss. I brought this up to them and they told me they haven’t since they were a kid. Then acted like I was trying to be their parent when i reminded them how important it is. I even bought some floss and noticed days later it wasn’t even opened, am I wrong for losing interest so fast? I think it’s important and I can’t even bring myself to kiss them because of it.

I would straight up tell him that you won’t kiss him if you aren’t sure his mouth is clean, that you’re rapidly finding him unattractive for being unwilling to meet your hygiene standards. If he actually cares, he’ll listen. If not, move on and find someone better.

Yes he took a selfie and can see the plaque build up+ inflamed gums from lack of hygiene care lmao I was going to include a picture when I posted it didn’t out of respect. Even after a long day of work, working over 12 hours he came home, ate pork, he knows I hate pork and he ran and used moth wash vs brushing his teeth.. poor hygiene doesn’t take a rocket scientists to see that 😭🤣
