At what point of being in the friendzone, does trying to make it a relationship become pathetic?

A lot of people believe that being in the friendzone with someone you ACTUALLY want to be in a relationship with is a completely lost cause, but so many people have also said, they started as friends, or s/he had a boy/girlfriend at first, but they broke up and it turned into a lasting relationship.

So really, where is the point in which YOU, as the person who actively is looking and trying to be in a relationship with the other person, considers it a lost cost not worth going after anymore? Or do you feel as long as you are single, there is hope?

Immediately. If you want more and your intended doesn’t, move along. You’ve idealized a fantasy that they can’t live up to even if you ever got the chance. It won’t last either way. Create separation and work on your self esteem.

I don't chase guys who put me in the friend zone cause if you are in the friend zone that means they are off limits to you and pushing it would be rude.

The only time I liked people who did not like me for long periods of time was if we were not friends but knew of each other such as classmates or co workers or church contacts.

If there’s no mutual interest in work, school, or similar topics that could provide mutual benefit, a man and a woman can’t just be friends. When someone who wants a relationship realizes they’ve been friendzoned, they should distance themselves immediately. Otherwise, the time spent together becomes a waste.
