Can I live in an Airbnb? Help I’m broke can’t afford pay rent?

I used to live alone in a studio apt when I was 23-25. but then I got fired and back to work since end last year. I’m living with parents in a far city I hate 1 hour away from work in a senior apt. She’s a hoarder so I feel depressed at home. I’m a minimilst and as I’m older 27 I desire decorate my own house.
I never had a serious boyfriend that asks me to live with him either or marriage.
Rn I’m having finance issues and pay my car monthly with insurance $650 plus my phone $700 total. I work at a warehouse so I only make $1200 every 2 wks. Rarely $1500 I’ll make. But daily I put gas as the drive home is too far. So about $150 I spend a wk on gas which is $600 a month.

if I lived 10 min away from work, I would spend only $50/$60 a wk on gas.

it’s difficult save money and can’t find extra second job.
do I just rent 2-3x a wk an Airbnb/hotel and 3 days a wk sleep in my car forever?

only solution is get a boyfriend that lets me live at his home n problem solved

To answer your question, no, an AirBnB won't be cheaper, even part-time, than rent. Maybe a motel or inn? Sometimes they offer discounts for renting month-to-month rather than nightly.

Does the car expense just refer to maintenance and insurance, or are you paying off a loan? If so, the best thing you could probably do is get out of that and buy a cheaper car with cash, ideally something with a small, fuel-efficient engine. As I'm sure you've noticed, those monthly payments make a huge dent in your income, as do fuel stops.

Also, $700 on phone bills (unless you're paying for multiple lines, like for your mom and maybe someone else) is insane. Look into something like Mint or Hello and opt for the cheapest plan available (unless you REALLY need the extra data, like for work or emergencies, but I doubt it). That'll be another nice chunk of savings.

My car broke down so I had to urgently get a used new car to pay monthly payment payments. I only had $1k for down payment.

coffee, snacks, tea, drugs (drinking/smoking), junk food.. maybe even eating out. only buy food and keep it cheap but healthy as possible. switch to cheapest cell phone possible, etc etc.. no credit card debt.
you have to work the problems one at a time, accept reality.

Practice gratitude and thankfulness, but with an open mind to change.

sell car instead? Not sure about that. I've never had a $700 a month car payment, need to learn to make good financial decisions. So start listening to Dave Ramsey in your spare time. As long as old car can be reliable, is preferred.. taht's what I do and I'm well secure. I don't waste $ on cars, I waste $ on good food.

Well the car payment is $380 but Insurance is $260 as my credit is bad. Phone bill is $40

your car insurance is $260 a mon x 12 = $3120 a year? that's more than I pay for 3 cars. try to find better offer. may be because you are younger.
I'd get rid of the new car, that' was not good decision, I doubt wrecks your credit. credit companies want to know if you pay your bills on time. But do your research on that and decide.
As well, they may be using that as a threat to make you keep the car. I never heard of returning a car though... if you can, I would. its your decsion.

I wanted to fix my old car I have with next month as it has 200,000 miles and needs catalyst converter and engine oil leak.

I don’t think i can get a used car for 1k most are all 4-5k in cash.

I have high insurance cuz I barley got my lisence at 27 and the car dealer I got the car from forced me get full coverage insurance. So I cudnt get a cheap insurance.

depends on car brand and what else will go wrong... some cars go 300k. if in my area, can buy my car $1000, just needs battery. doesn't look good, but everything good. but yes, hard to find good car, probably spending $5000 at least. cat converter off market lookup cost, around $400 + install. oil leak, depends how bad. I just put oil in cars... change myself.
yes, another reason to run car you are ok losing... lower insurance.

I think it would be way better to look at other lifestyle changes. Ex. could you carpool with someone working in the area? Could you shift your car insurance provider? Use a different, cheaper phone plan? Find a roommate? You might also work on applying to a new job that has better pay or is closer by in your spare time, or pursing some kind of educational training/certifications. You might be able to find some kind of night school, online school, or trade school that would help you qualify for higher paying jobs. While you're at it you might look into moving to a cheaper area if possible.

There are definitely ways to improve your situation, but you'll have to make sacrifices. Best to decide on what sacrifices you think are viable for you and start making a plan so you can move towards your goals faster.

Where do you live? Here in Southeast US, you can get a studio apartment for $1200 a month. People are renting rooms, getting roommates, for much less than that.

Doing some quick math, you might want to get a cheaper used car that gets better mileage. Your car costs are too high for what you make.
