How can I find a room for rent & not be homeless help?

Me & my mom did mistake to live with a roomate past year in far city the rent was expensive we spent all our savings & no job , dangerous area, we already packed moved our things to a storage. A friend of moms might let us stay next week and week after to sleep as we start new job in new city we used to live in Tuesday. And we’ll be paid til 2 weeks so we can pay for a room for rent except all rooms for rent want only one person or rooms are $1,000 and rare to find one of $500-$600. Mom doesn’t work only cleans one home a week but we r broke. She cud of bought a home wen she was younger but my dad did drugs and dad now lives in car & mom is broke. Craigslist it’s not luck to get a room either $1,000
And mom needs pay $500 or $600 for a room as I’ll pay half so we can save so she can buy a home in few months. No rooms except us both and all friends have roommate in room renting already.

You need to go online in the city you are living in and look up charities. Some will help you get funding for apartments. That's if you live in the U. S.

I know around universities and colleges some people will rent out rooms in houses. Might not be the best situation but it could get you by for awhile.

Also, if the city is big enough there are places called hostels. https://www.hostelworld.com/hostels/Los-Angeles An example. Hostels are all over the world. You have to room with other people but you can ask for women's only rooms.

I see on Craigslist many students need rent a room but they are expensive and a lot of requirements and high Deposit ask for

Main issue is all want rent room to one person. Not 2

Then you need to look up resource charities. Your only other option is a homeless shelter or your car. Some churches in LA have parking lots where you can park your car at night and they close the gate. There is stuff out there but you have to keep google searching. Ask at one of the large churches in the area where the charities are that can help with housing.

We don’t have car I’m buying car end of March. We will get room for rent but all don’t want 2 people only 1 I don’t Understand

Again you need to go to the charity and talk to someone and tell them your problem. There are people who do this all the time and can give you advice and possible help.

We lived in an apartment in very far very bad city and a lot horrible issues with roomate and mom can’t pay $1,000 and no job in that city. We found job in new city but can’t find cheap room mom can’t afford rent of $700 or more she wants save
