What do you love and what do you hate about life?

Funny enough it’s the same things I both love and hate
Just in different ways


I landed back in Paris yesterday and here I am sitting in my empty apartment.
Truth is: I hate this place
But I absolutely love the person I am in it


It’s the reverse of how I felt just two days ago


I know life is a journey of discovery but as years go by I am constantly faced with how sad and lonely life can be.
Even when surrounded by people


I couldn’t tell you exactly what’s missing because I don’t even know it myself


I just know I’m tired of reliving the same days over and over

I certainly do not mistake it for deep unhappiness. But something is missing and only you know what that is. And even if it is just melancholy it deserves attention.

You have found a way to be happy enough. Sometimes having all the noise around us in the way of people and chit chatter isn't enough and I understand what you feel.

The beauty of creation, the mountains, skies, oceans, land, the beautiful creatures, music.

Hate?

Pain, being cut, crushed, breaking bones, gravity killing us and injuring us with falls, being burned, people burning alive in cars... so high pain levels go, to the realm of torture. Other people being able to choose to destroy other peoples lives. Someone could lose a loved one or suffer for life due to the actions of a stranger.

Oh I could list a lot of things I hate about life but I think the biggest thing I hate about life is that it's often unfair.

What I love about life is that we get to choose how we want to be in this world. We may not have much freedom depending on social and financial status but we do get to choose how to be and what to do with the cards we have been dealt. That's the beauty of life. Choice.

I don’t really hate anything about life that is solely bad. Like, there are unpleasant things but it’s all part of life and has its positive opposite. Grief comes from being unable to love, sadness comes from not feeling joy, anger comes from a lack of justice, all of which are concepts and ideas and feelings that exist while we live, which are all pretty awesome tbh.
