Is it fair that you shouldn’t date around when you have a friend that like/in love with you?

I mean it’s fair right? If you had a boyfriend/girlfriend, it may the effect your relationship. Just don’t date especially if you KNOW or KNEW your friend like you. You’re going to break their hearts and strong them along. Sorry if it’s not what you want to hear but it’s the truth.

Well I’m not wasting my own time or the time of someone else that I’m not interested in romantically whether she likes me or not. If I’m her friend I respect her enough to not string her along or waste her time. I obviously like her as a human being just not in that way if it makes sense.

If the feeling was mutual though then it wouldn’t be such a issue obviously we would probably upgrade just being friends. Friends to lovers can honestly be some of the strongest relationships because you already know one another and have that bond. Unfortunately, sometimes one person can catch feelings while the other doesn’t.

I genuinely respect my female friends, even if I don’t feel the same way they can tell me anything. I would be more then respectful at talking to her and explaining my feelings. I’m not wasting your time or mine. I’m giving you closure. I may even help find you someone.
