I think a single father has different challenges. A single father tends to prioritize his children when looking for a new partner, which makes them a little more careful who they date, so, in that respect, they limit themselves. Although, like someone said, it isn't easy for men to date in general. Women tend to prioritize themselves, usually for financial reasons, as well as their children. For that reason, they don't have as much of a luxury of being more careful about choosing a partner. They almost feel they need to find someone out of necessity. in my opinion, it's easier for women, because it's basically easier for them generally speaking.

I have a friend who was widowed due to the reckless driving of a drunk teenager.

His wife didn't immediately die which gave him a chance to promise her that he'd raise their children (3 boys) well, like how she would have.

It's been over 2 decades since she died.

The boys are men now and they are more relentless now in encouraging their dad to find himself a new lover.

Fortunately, my friend is a very handsome & successful man.

Women swoon head-over-heels for him.

I don't think he's gonna have any difficulty finding a partner at all with quite a lot of women crushing on him.

The most perfect man in the history of the species has it harder than a woman with known psychoses who has murdered her entire family, including her own children and every former lover. Not necessarily, after my wife and I separated, I was meeting girls’ that were showing interest in me , and even when I was married , Girls’ were still showing interest in me LOL , so not difficult at all , especially if you are outgoing and respectful and not really shy. I am not a shy guy and I treat people the same way I like to be treated in return , not everyone is going to like you or dislike you , but you never know unless you try. Good question. I'm not sure i'm not as i'm not a dad or a single dad. But i'm guessing , but in a weird twist , maybe it's either four guys . I'm guessing if they find a single woman with kids maybe. And then they have.

Id go out with family (3 daughters and a wife) and the waitress would hit on me because my wife was so cold she didn't think we were together and I was a single girl dad) several of my daughters friends mom's actively hit on me. No. Probably easier. Fair or not, a single dad is usually seen as someone who either fought hard in court to get custody or is widowed/abandoned by the mom. The mom, often unfairly, is degraded for being a single parent.
