A huge crowd of people on here that do. 😅 I'm actually disgusted by it. When they condone it, then I believe the "right" person could make them cheat because deep down, they don't see that big of an issue with it.

Past incidents of being unfaithful. No matter what excuse they provide being unfaithful is a choice people make.

Becoming overly defensive and protective. Asking them a simple question can set them off into a RAGE. As well as hiding their phones along other things. Going places and not telling you where they are or changing their story. Even if they demand to know where you are.

Projection. They baselessly accuse you of cheating.

They are resentful and compacting you to others.

Sudden overcompensating. Maybe they feel bad about it or maybe they are getting their needs met somewhere else so they don’t need to nag. Maybe it’s simply covering it up. A weird sharp increase in affection.

Withdraw. They don’t want to be intimate and withdraw from physical affection and aren’t really there anymore with you.

Actually for me it was a little different I would ask questions and he was so good at lying al that it wouldn’t even bother him even though I knew what he was saying was true. I could have the evidence in front of him and he would still be calm and say it’s not true 😆
