What's an analogy for relationships that you can come up with?

I think of Tom and Jerry! Running around chasing each other, Tom setting traps and figuring out ways to get out of his own, Jerry finding solutions to his problems. Setting traps for each other drew them closer to a harmonious friendship! I loved watching Tom and Jerry shows as a kid! They are just as much humorous today! This is what I think about when it is said, "The closer you are, the more you'll drive each other crazy!"
