Before any intimacy occurs between this man and I, we would have a serious talk about children. If he doesn’t want children, the relationship would be over right then and there. That’s a dealbreaker for me. My father broke my mother’s heart when she found out that he didn’t want any children in the first place. After me, she ended up having not one, but two abortions to keep my dad from divorcing her. I’ll be DAMNED if I go through that with a man.

I married a woman and later discovered that she had an abortion when she was very young. It caused me to lose some respect for her.

No I wouldn’t. I am personally pro-life, but I support abortion being legal mostly due to extreme circumstances and if someone took that path I’d want to understand why more than anything. If my fiancé pushed a previous partner into getting one, however, I would think less of him as a person (with the exception of her life being in danger or similar)

I would be fine with a woman who had an abortion. But I’d draw the line at anyone who is an Evangelical Christian. That is a deal breaker.
