They been together for more than 10 years but he still dont like her. He been cheating the entire time and even tried to divorce her but she didn’t want a divorce. She swore up and down that he wasn’t going anywhere and that she had the upper hand in the marriage. It went viral that he now has another woman pregnant. Plus he stay with her now. He don’t be at the house hardly ever with the wife. He work away from home. Still she won’t divorce him and he cheats away while she sit at the house singing old Mc Donald’s had a farm. This is his second child on her. The husband and wife have kids together as well but she turned them against him because he don’t wanna be with her anymore.

I have to honestly say that story sounds awful and I would not be with him.

But to answer the question “would you stay with a man who got another woman pregnant?” in general, I would not if it happened while he and I were together bc it would mean he cheated on me and has a major attachment forever now with the person he cheated on me with. If he already had a child before we started dating that is different and would be OK if everything else was right. JMO!

This doesn't sound American because we have no fault divorce and there is no "try" to divorce... one can unilateral do it and it's not judged because of no fault divorces. Thanks Regain. Why she would latch onto him despite not or no longer being into her is beyond me... perhaps it's just the status of being with him?

I read down a bit... he's a Muslim and she's a Christian... unlike the Jews where you become a Jew by marring a Jewish woman, I thought you become a Muslim when you marry a Muslim man... am I wrong? The fact that she's still holding onto that identity and with a guy that probably views her as some trash due to the religion...

... yeah... this is one of those situations that's already too confusing for me to make sense out of what's going on. I'm guessing there is reasons she won't let him just go, as well as why he won't just let her go... but for some reason they're just staying together? The only part of me that can make this make sense is it not being in the United States and there are different rules in place.

I'll put this out there... if the marriage has completely broken down and he has openly cut himself off from it, but the wife is refusing to allow a divorce... then at least from his perspective they've broken up. As such him moving on to be with another woman is just taking control of his life back. It might technically qualify as adultery, but not as cheating.

Muslim men have been normalized that this is normal… I fell in love with a married Muslim man with 4 children.. once I found out he lied to me that he was married, I started acting differently just to see if he would get jealous if I was “looking” or “talking” to some other guy and did.
