You might have just met someone and you was taking them back to your place.

You don't want to draw attention to yourselves, so might let your partner walk ahead of you, so the neighbours wouldn't put 2 + 2 together, and think they know what you was both up to.

Did you, or do you have any tricks like this?

When you're living at home with your parents, it's very difficult to bring a prospective partner back anytime when you're parents are in, well I only did a couple of times.
Finding your own place avoids all this, and student life is perfect for meeting new partners.
