Hi!

I have a kid with my ex from about 5 years ago, and we’ve been separated for roughly the same amount of time.
We’ve been kinda salty toward each other, and she’s always been a bit grumpy with me, mostly only talking about things related to our kid.

But lately, she’s been in a better mood. We’ve actually been laughing together and sharing memories from our ten-year relationship. She’s even kinda okay with the idea of going out to eat together (with our kid), just to show our kid that we can get along, at least that’s what she says.
She’s also been fine with me visiting her apartment just to babysit.

Worth mentioning, she often says she’s tired of men and relationships, but at the same time, she seems kinda open with me, like she’s testing if I feel the same (but toward girls, of course).
We’re both single right now, and she knows that.

Does anyone recognize this pattern?
Am I just a shoulder to cry on, or is she maybe on the “rekindle” track?
