So is clumsiness and forgetfulness selective?

I've always been somewhat clumsy and forgetful. I've accidentally bumped into things, dropped my cell several times, forgot my keys, my cell and even my license a couple times.

Yet ironically, I still managed to raise my boy whom will turn 7 soon. I've never dropped him, never forgot his feeding time nor ever left him alone on the bed, never had a burning accident; nothing serious. Besides the only few times he tripped (like any child) when he started running, nothing else.

I'm clumsy and forgetful with other things but never with my boy. So is that selective clumsiness and forgetfulness?
