If you had to torture someone to save a loved one, would you do it?

If they deserved it and they were withholding information about the location of somebody that was kidnapped or something like that. Other than extracting vital information from a piece of shit to save somebody's life, I wouldn't torture somebody. I don't like seeing people in pain.

No, I don’t think I would ever do that. I don’t have it in me. If someone tried to force me into it, I’m pretty sure I wouldn’t be able to face myself in the mirror afterward. I’d probably have sleepless nights. I don’t think I could live with that kind of memory.

No. I couldn't torture a random person. Whatever "situation " putting my loved one in arms way would not ge my fault or on my head just because I couldn't torture someone.

However... there are certain particular people who I would feel OK to torture under these circumstances. Knowing they deserve it and it serves to save someone I love.

I don't think so. But if it was either my loved one or the other person gets tortured to death, then I guess I would feel forced to because I wouldn't want something like that to happen to someone I loved... And after it was finished and my loved one was safe, I'd probably off myself no cap. That sounds like an extremely hard scenario to be in.
