However, even though I know it's hard, I understand how you feel, my aunt's husband (she was like a big sister to me) kept her at home without contact with the family while she was seriously ill. it was just 4 weeks, the first two weeks, we didn't worry, she is married with children and everyone lives their own life then the third week, her condition got worse and he decided to taken her to the hospital, we have since learned of her illness, a week later she died and he is still there, in the roadblocks trying to play the victim with the family, her best friend confessed that her husband was an alcoholic and came home drunk every day, cheat on her and she didn't want divorce because of the kids. to be honest, this situation really enraged me and knowing I didn't do anything or I'm not doing anything bothers me so much but the best option is not revenge but forgiveness, of course I don't forgive him at all, not even a little but I try every day to get it into my head that wishing him harm or killing him or anything bad won't make things better, she's gone forever and I have to accept that and deal with it, life would know what to do with it

Could getting revenge feel good? Yes. But is it worth it? No. You'll only end up going to jail for even a worse sentence if you do that. Just let the police & jail take care of him. It's not worth ruining your own life for it.

I’m sorry for your loss. To meet the legal threshold for murder there needs to be an element of intent. Being at fault for a motor vehicle accident doesn’t meet that threshold.
