I’m falling for someone who has Hidradenitis Suppurativa (HS), and we might end up getting married if things keep moving this way. I don’t mind that, but they told me yesterday that they have HS and had kept it private before. I’m not upset — I just hadn’t heard of it before and want to understand it better.

For anyone whose partner has HS, could you please share honestly how it has affected your relationship, intimacy, or day-to-day life?

Please be honest do you think you could made a mistake by doing it?

I legit had to go look this up because I had no idea what it is. Neither of my partners have it thankfully, but it wouldn't be a deal breaker for something they can't control. I will say that it sounds miserable to have though.

Nah, she shut me down completely. She told me to stay away. She said she doesn’t want to make my life hell. I do a minimal job, and she said all our finances would end up going into her medicine — and she can’t do that to me.
