Girls, Need your opinion on my friend?

Just confused right now and wanted some opinion to think better here.

I have a girl best friend and we've been friends since childhood. I never had any other feelings for her, except friendship and so did she. We shared all secrets about everything, even all relationships.

We both are single for more than a year now and few months back, we both were drunk at her place and decided to "experiment" together.

We both made it clear, our feelings won't change and we will be same like always.

So we did it, and like it a lot. So we started having sex frequently whenever we craved for it.

But recently, I started noticing something different in her behaviour. I don't know if it just my thinking or something actually changed.

But she started to act different, a bit more than usual. Like back then, whenever I went on date and told her about it, she was like saying good luck or something like that, something supportive.

She still does, but now I can feel her voice tone gets a bit disappointed whenever I mentioned about dating.

Just named your opinion, am I over thinking?

Despite telling each other that things would stay the same, people’s feelings can change and sometimes there’s just no helping it. As of right now, you have no real proof that anything has changed on her behalf but if it has, I wouldn’t be surprised. Women tend to be more emotional than men, so when you’re hooking up regularly (which is super intimate), along with the closeness of being best friends, lines are sure to get blurred. So if you suspect that this situation is becoming more than friends with benefits for her then have a conversation and really consider ending it. You two were clear about what this was supposed to be, and while it’s normal for someone to catch feelings, it’s not what you want and you don’t wanna hurt or use her.

Thanks for sharing your opinion, I've talked to her about this and she clearly said she doesn't have any feelings and want to continue. After reading your response, I am feeling a lot more confused.

You are absolutely not overthinking this. In situations involving a deeply established platonic bond that suddenly adds sexual intimacy, it is completely normal—and necessary—to hyper-analyze shifts in behavior.

No offense, but you have some growing up to do.
