I once heard of someone who had a cuddle buddy. Kind of like friends with benefits except there was no sex, no touching private parts or kissing. Just hugs, spooning, back scratches in front of movies and things like that. Even saw a doctumentary about someone who had started a business where people could hire someone to cuddle with. Basically like you’d hire an escort/prostitute but it was for platonic cuddles. Men often are unable to tell the difference so they usually fulfill both needs with sex rather than acknowledging the difference and working towards it.
