If you have an anxious attachment, how do you regulate your emotions when your partner doesn’t communicate for multiple hours during the day?

I seem to struggle with this whenever I get into a relationship. When I’m single, I’m fine… but when I start to get attached to someone, I do feel a little anxious if I don’t hear from him for 8-10 hours even if he told me he would be busy during the day. I’ve tried staying busy and productive or distracting myself but it’s still at the back of my mind. How to cope with this?
