I think love is deep and devoted harmony and appreciation for another person that involves empathy and good motivations. What people do not understand in our world today is you have to love own unconscious voice before you love somebody else, otherwise, you will be too dependent on your partner and will not be able to survive without them. In our society there is an increasing large number of people who have forgotten who they are and get their identity entirely from the people around them, that is why so many people are suicidal or depressed right now, these people have forgotten who they are and rely on other people to tell them who they are.

True love is best defined as a secure attachment bond with a person who consistently shows you, through their actions, that they value your integrity, independence, and well-being as much as, or sometimes more than, their own.
