21 dNot to look for sympathy, because we're okay as a family and don't need any but I lost my dad in March unexpectedly. I was the one that took the phone call and had to tell my mom. Her reaction is forever etched in my brain and I wish I could erase it.
On a lighter note, when I was around 8 years old, I was playing baseball with neighborhood kids and had to pee. At the time, I never wore underwear and was in such a hurry, when I zipped up, yes, I caught my little bird! It HURT and I have worn underwear ever since!

22 dThe memories of my exes. I know past relationships help shape who you are and I admit they did change me to an extent. But not a ton. Most of who I am has been consistent throughout my life. I've never played by others rhythms. I always have my own line of thinking.
The reason I want to erase memories of my exes is because I want a fresh slate when getting with my future and hopefully forever partner. Why would I want to remember my past partners if I'm with the girl I love.10 Reply

People don't understand it just because we go through painful things. It doesn't mean that's what it's all about. When we do go through this thing , so I know i can't. erase it.. but in many ways I do or have
I've learnt the lesson and I move on
Because of I think about something every day when it mwan I didn't learn the lesson. That's why it keeps coming back to haunt me10 Reply- 2.9K opinions shared on Relationships topic.
22 dI wouldn't erase anything. The think most people would erase are mistakes they made, yet mistakes are the best way to learn... to avoid making them in the future.
50 Reply My mind does a pretty good job at blocking out my worst memories, probably too good sometimes tbh, so I’m going to go with nothing

22 dNot really.. I went through some really rough stuff through the years.. somethings took years to get over but now I don't really think back on them and they made me much more tougher as a person. Plus with my antidepressants my mind is permanently numbed that I don't give a fuck about the past anymore lol.

22 dThis is the time travel to the past question. And my answer is the same. I wouldn't erase a part of my life. Because then I wouldn't be me. I'd be someone else. Maybe better in some ways. Maybe worse in other ways. But I'd essentially be killing myself to go forward as someone else.
No thanks. I'll take the good and the bad, live with my decisions, and the consequences thereof. All of that makes me who I am. And I like who I am.

22 dMy memories are my experiences … and my experience have helped shape me into who I am today.. erasing part of that would mean that I’d be erasing this version of me and ‘gambling’ on whom I’d be without them.
I’m happy with me , faults and all. Regardless of my wrongs and mis-steps I am me because of me.10 Reply - 1.3K opinions shared on Relationships topic.
21 dDon't say that cause then we wouldn't be friends. If you never have any bad time how can you truly appreciate the good time and trust me the good times are coming your to good a person. Just remember when time get hard you have friends who love you just lean on us we got you

3.8K opinions shared on Relationships topic. I would erase the memory of the time I spent with my ex-wife almost all of which was a nightmare. The only reason I might not do that is because it did teach me not to get involved with women generally speaking and I don't do that anymore because of the lessons I learned in that relationship which were very painful.

22 dThe things I once wished I could erase are the same things that make me strong... it took me a while to see that but a weakness can be a strength; you just have to turn the way you think about it upside. 🙂

I don't feel traumatized enough by anything I've done, to want to eliminate them from my memory. But what I WOULD like to do, is remember those events that I have no memory of, due to alcohol-induced memory blackouts
