I don't know which word encompasses it best but Patience, Determination, Drive, Willingness - something you want, and to actually work towards it. Everyone seems so lazy and selfish now. Like relationships should just happen and if anything isn't right or fun, it's bad. It's so rare to find someone that is willing to put forth time and effort into what they want.

Not to be complaining but it's so rare now in dating life that another person looks at you like a commodity. For woman how they look is a commodity, for men what they can offer. My Girlfriend fell in love with me because how I was as a father. She had kids and doesn't want more. So my answer is... A person who values you for who you are not what you possess or social value.
