Depends upon the picture. If it’s clearly a memento of the person more than of a chapter of their life with them or an otherwise memorable event or occasion, then i might be put off. However, if it is a memento from a special event or occasion and/or a meaningful chapter of their life, then it’s absurd to expect someone to erase their past over your insecurities. That’s not how life works and it’s not a healthy way to manage relationships and insecurities. Context matters and these things should be approached with diplomacy.
