Do you check your ex boyfriend/girlfriend’s instagram profile even though you have a girlfriend or boyfriend?

Girls’ tend to do this more than guys do , In a sense it is disrespectful and shows that you are holding onto something that is no longer there , An ex is an ex for a reason , meaning exempt them from your life , especially if you are investing into someone else , you will not be able to give yourself 100 percent to your new partner if you are still holding onto an ex and wondering what they been up to? Your new partner is going to feel that you don’t truly love them if you still hold on to an ex , all the girls I have dated that talked highly of their exes I kick them to the curb , it clearly indicates that they are not ready to be in a Néw relationship, when someone constantly compares you to an ex they are just using you as a convenience, why people should not attempt relationships with someone new if they clearly aren’t over their ex , It’s disrespectful , Ask yourself why you are holding on to someone that doesn’t want to be with you?

Yeah , I do this sometimes for reasonably harmless reasons , I just like to see mainly if she is still playing golf ( I introduced her ) , she is still playing , not very well but that doesn't matter , I always suspected she was a lesbian , so Id like to see if she has a girlfriend , I check some others too , but just general interest not to try and sneak back or anything , life is never black/white.

I reckon lots of people would , my daughter will only use Insta , I note some of her followers are exes , because I dont use it that well , or often , my looks are brief , and I just chuckle.

When I had a boyfriend I always felt very guilty to check my ex’s profile that I was with before him. I ended up checking it once and it crushed me and affected my relationship. Now that I’m single I check his profile way more than I should…. he’s an ex for a reason, right

Nope, maybe I might check it freshly after the break up for 1-3 weeks but that's about it.
I don't go back cause after dealing with the break up, I move on and let go.

I don't, but for some reason, one of my best friends cheks up on one of my exes, even tho I told him I'm not interested in seeing what she's up to. I think he likes her a bit, and that's why he goes to her Instagram account.
