If that person was smart, they would stop and think why you would have done, what you did, and the finger points right back at him, even though it's pointed at you, you could've just broke up and walked away,

that's what you should do anyway learn from your mistake. keep growing, don't let anybody ever put a hand on you ever, no matter what you've done.
And if they're doing that , and they're justifying it because of something you did
that should make you walk away faster because that person's going to keep abusing you no matter what
