How often do you end up having a disagreement with someone?

I’m not a very agreeable person in general

I pick and chose the people i allow to influence my opinions

Basically if I trust and admire you I will be open to changing my mind based on your words

But if a random stranger has an opinion different from my own then we will disagree

I do avoid open confrontations whenever I can because it’s childish and a waste of time
But I would welcome it as often as needed if the other person is trying to directly influence my life

It happens more often back home
There I’m still seen a young kid with a lot to learn
Unlike here where I am essentially the fully matured adult living by himself for the past half a decade

All the time. I'm confrontational by nature. And there are a LOT of dumb people out there. I look at alienating dumb people as a positive thing for the most part. So offending them is not really a consideration most of the time in my personal life. In my professional life, I'm not as free to have as much fun with the slow ones. But I will still challenge anyone when they are fundamentally wrong about something important and on the precipice of damaging their own business.

I rarely argue, maybe once every few weeks. I dislike drama, so I communicate calmly and walk away from pointless fights. Disagreement is normal, but constant conflict is a red flag. I’d rather solve it, flirt a little, laugh it off, and move on than waste energy on ego battles.

I hardly ever get into disagreements with friends and family. I am good at expressing my opinion diplomatically and not very reactive emotionally. If someone has wild opinions, I usually just ask them questions rather than fight.

If I do get into a disagreement, it is usually when someone assumes they know best or tries to push their views on me. Especially if I already don't respect their judgement. Or because they crossed a moral line I can't stand for.

Disagreements happen occasionally , it’s natural when people have different perspectives.

What matters is how you handle them: staying calm, listening, and trying to understand the other person rather than just “winning” the argument.

Healthy disagreements can actually strengthen relationships when approached with respect and openness.

Honestly, at least once a week/every other week with my boyfriend. He and I have different views on things, and we're both slightly stubborn. We're both also open minded to change, but when have a disagreement, and talk it out and come up with a compromise.

At work, often. It is usually along the lines of a client calling near closing on Friday wanting some insane amount of editing and/or closed captioning done that night followed by my suppressing laughter, asking about priority since the request is impossible. Often the client says "I will call around." During that time I start prep because inevitably he will call back.
