What was the exact moment you realized your partner was ‘the one’?

Just answered a question about my first kiss and it took me back in time to…

…Summer of 2019 and I am 22, It was a super typhoon that day but me being clueless exchange student who had never seen one, went out anyway, my boyfriend came to take me home, people were indoors and it was raining cats and dogs, so awfully windy as well… He put his jacket on me and took me home while holding my hand,

As I said goodbye and went to my hallway, he gently held my hand, pulled me closer, put his jacket on top of our heads and kissed me.

It felt intense and romantic, couldn’t have wished for a better first kiss, I experienced my first typhoon and my first kiss in one day.

Went home and smiled for hours… I couldn’t believe what just happened.

I even remember the name, it was typhoon Lekima…

Thinking back, in that moment, as I finally kissed him, I knew he was the one, because of how totally safe his presence made me feel even in the chaos of the intense atmosphere…

It put a template to my heart to be attracted to dominant men who lead with their actions, who feel calm to be around and with whom I can switch my constantly anxious mind off and just close my eyes. It taught me to trust someone else other than myself.

I think it was... about six or eight hours after the moment we met

that was such a random hi... she approached just out of intrigue and curiousness, it was a thing of the moment for her, and not even that serious either, a very playful thing although remarkable as well

that many hours later... we were still talking non-stop, we didn't notice it had been that long either, lol.. we realized that, and pretty much decided '"we should make this happen again" and then... we just agreed to crash onto the next party whoever these people are might the next day, somewhere else

and then, we both went that one too... and met again, lol

It was raining, I was late to pick up the canolis so by the time they were in hand I was pacing frantically through the sidewalk to get them safely to a car.

That's when she hit me like a train; a rather large woman, sent me flying face first into a bench.

And that's when it happened. My hand, completely on its own reached out and not only stopped the fall, but was still holding the canolis. That's when I knew my hand was the love of my life.

I don't think I had once, since I have never had a partner. However, I had an ice-breaking moment with a certain girl when She started talking in what I perceived as "ancient" Polish at the time. I was certainly more attracted to Her ever since. Nothing became of it, though.
