It’s interesting bc I’ve met many people who seems sure they can tell, but I can also tell when they can’t tell lol. In other words, I can only sense sometimes or most of the times as people perception can be clouded/blurry.
I think it’s from experience from how many people who takes advantaged of my kindness when I was young and naive in my early to mid 20s… friends who takes and takes… friends who thrives on trying 1 up you and jealous of you… fake friends shit lol
It’s also from being sharp and a vibe through someone’s body language, the way they are with each person, their intentions… it doesn’t matter how good or clumsy your social skills are…
The pick me up girl for sure who wants validation and boosting their ego from friends pitying them or trying to be better than their friends.. or thrive in male attention seeking which men usually falls for consciously or unconsciously…
Is their character consistent or inconsistent?
Can you be genuinely kind and not trying to gain anything?
Do you gaslight for your ego/advantages/control or take accountability and acknowledge your mistakes?
Are you performing? For who and for what?
If they’re your friends, do they talk good or bad about you while maintaining authenticity?
I feel like I can easily tell for a good 90% but I definitely fall short if they’re people I considered good friends because caring about someone and loving people can blind me. Working on it though.
Genuine people are humble and don't seek attention, fake people want to pleased to be praised and it's just a staged act. The difference is very subtle and it's more about intuition as to who is fake and who is real.
By what they talk about.
Fake people will talk you up and try to get super close to you or play games to make you chase them. But the pattern is they care way too much about their ego being precieved a certain way to gain a desired effect.
Genuine people can be very easy to miscategorize because maybe I own a production company and I meet a kid who wants to work with cameras, what are they going to do?
Something pretty similar to what the fake person will do right? But the subtle difference is usually how they pause, the way they wait for you to react and they look in your eyes with curisoty instead of judgement.
They're usually more paitent and most importantly, they'll push back on things they care about without being WHAT THEY PRECIEVE as disrespectful. In fact a lot of them tend to be slightly clumsy socially.
Well first of all there's no fake people, just normies that go along with the other sheep, blindly following whatever comes up. What I see is genuine are those that didn't necessarily get their education from schooling, it was earned out making mistakes and learning from them.

My best way to be able to tell is to see how they act around me. Now a professional employee at work probably doing their jobs that’s not necessarily being fake it’s just they want to make it through the day.
Fake people will shine through over the top or monotone reactions. Acting differently around different groups of people. Bland facial expressions even if they’re trying to come off as happy etc.
I do keep and maintain the eye-contact... and I also say as less as possible
most, if not all people who will fake and pretend things are not going to keep up with that for long, because they do need some type of feed-back constantly, otherwise... it costs them a lot of more to keep pretending or faking things, lol
then I just remain mostly neutral but still open and engaged with them... and then it is just funny how they're not always sure how to react to that... of course, you also have to compare this to their other ways, when they might be telling something truthful or more normal as well
and, after years and years and a life of that... you can just usually sense it from people, the ones are more or less genuine or even faking things
It's really hard to tell but usually there's an intuition to it. A tone you pick up on. Something feels icky or off. If they are a bit more snakey and you don't pick up on it directly you usually find out by observing them with others. Your see if they switch up and change tone, personality or facts they're saying depending on who they are with.
Most people are fake, dishonest, and untrustworthy. I actually dislike most of society. I am more straight up and up front with people in person. Some don't like me because of it, but some do like and respect me for it because they always know where they stand.
With their ways of acting and sayings you can understand the difference by looking at the consistency between what they say and what they do genuine people do what they say and never say the things that dont related to himself or herself but the fake ones do the opposite they like exaggrating things , tellings things that didn't happen as if happened to gain respect something like that
I always follow my intuition and I’ve never been wrong..
It’s just a feeling I get I feel it I sense it but it’s also when I say something and I notice they lie like they Said White one day and they say black another
Some people you can tell they're not what they say they are !! They smile to your face then you find out they been talking crap about and others
I look to see if the have a little tag on their butts that say "Made in China". If they have one of these I know that they are fake people.
it takes a while but eventually you’ll find out if they’re genuine or fake trash, talkers that don’t back it up. I don’t like to involve myself with fake people
"I was the only one wearing a Mask - 1994, Jim
that should've been an iconic film quote or on set career quote from The Mask 1994

Actions always speak louder than words.
I don’t. They differentiate themselves
With experience.
