A lot seem to be, and it's probably because either 1) they don't know how to pursue an actual marriage or 2) they don't realize that there will come a day when they will stop working, their name will be taken off their door or desk and someone else will come in after them, and no one will care about all the hours they worked, all the emails they sent, all the projects they completed, or all the places they traveled.
