I think that depends on the situation. If it is the husband who would then terminate you in response, like would likely be a wrongful termination. But that's the legal stuff. In reality, he'd find a different way to have you separate by either finding some other reason to terminate you or by making your life miserable on the job to the point of you leaving. And, almost certainly, he would not admit that he knew it was you who spilled the beans to his wife.

If you feel compelled to tell the wife about the fidelity, you need to do so in an anonymous way that cannot possibly lead back to you. That may be difficult. For instance, if the husband knows that you know and no one else does, well, then you're screwed.

But, in this entire discussion, I have been assuming that the husband is a coworker/boss who has the ability to cause you to lose your job. If I am wrong, then you need to elaborate on the situation.
