I don’t believe in a single fixed “the one”. You meet compatible people by timing, energy, choices… then you co‑create “the one” through trust, communication, and shared growth.

There are 4 billion roughly of each gender on earth, so having "the one" would make it hopeless to find them if you didn't just take someone who was as close to perfect for you as you could find and build them up into being "the one" if you feel the need to call someone that.

Proximity determines opportunity. Yes, you can just get lucky, but generally life is what you make of it. If you seriously want something out of life, make it happen. Look at how many poor sods waste precious time on dating apps when all they need to do is walk out the door and socialize. It is not like brain surgery.
