I find when I'm a free agent and single, I get attracted very easily to super attractive guys, but when I have mentally chosen somebody, every guy I used to find attractive is ugly or boring other than the one I'm with.
Evolution makes species seek to reproduce, romantic love and other fairy tales are already fantasies that the individual himself creates in his head.
Not everyone, but some. I believe that nature vs nurture is highly in effect here.

It's like being at an all-you-can-eat buffet and wanting to try a little bit of everything. But when you've picked your person, your brain switches gears. It goes into 'protect the bond' mode, making everyone else seem less appealing in comparison. This isn't just emotional but comes with a cocktail of biological reactions designed to deepen and protect your chosen connection. It's nature's way of helping us focus on nurturing one relationship at a time.
However, if you find that this switch happens too quickly or intensely, it might be worth exploring why that is. Sometimes our brains can get a bit too overzealous in their efforts to keep us focused.
