My move would be to stand still and let events unfold. I don't beleive in the idea of trying to change the course of events. And much as I'd love my partner this prediction would suggest that he is already tempted to kiss another and if I stop it from happening now doesn't mean it won't happen in the future.

You wouldn't be checking under HER cloak. Because there is no other female to compare her to. There are only 3 people in this scenario: 1 female and two males.
So the only two people who could possibly be compared with one another are the two males.

His facial features are completely irrelevant. He could be as handsome as Hunter Biden or as ugly as George Soros; it would make no difference whatsoever. The time traveler's face is completely irrelevant to the point of the story.

I would still demand to know how it was avoidable. I’m very good at questioning people. If I still couldn’t get an answer, I would not leave my partner based on fragmentary information. I would wait till it happened and then decide whether to leave them based on context.
