If I’m crazy about someone in real life, bad photos are zero issue. Photos lie all the time. Vibes, chemistry, how they look laughing right next to you – that’s what hits. If anything, it’s kinda cute and makes them feel more real. Major green flag: attractive in person, not just on camera.

No. I love her for HER!! In the first place, I have yet to figure out how people think they look bad in pictures! It's just an image of what you look like! It's no different than looking in a mirror except that it'll be the reverse image of what the mirror shows.
Secondly, I don't really care what she looks like. As I've said, I'm in love with HER!! Her heart, her personality, the person I sometimes spend hours a day talking to. I don't even know what my present girlfriend looks like but, I've known her for almost two years and know her heart and it's beautiful!! I accept her as she is!!
I guess it'd be nice if she was a gorgeous, sexy, hot super model but those people are often fake! Once you get them home and strip off the war paint, they look nothing like what you see of them in public. I don't mind SOME make-up but, I'd rather see who I'm talking to and kissing. In a way, make-up is lying to people. Mostly if they put on so much of it, they're a completely different person. Did anyone in the public know what Kiss looked like until they stopped wearing make-up?
In the end, I don't really care what she looks like. I know what she looks like inside and that is a GORGEOUS garden in heaven!!! And I hope neither of us EVER loses that!!

my ex didn't care about photos... she didn't do social media either

but other than that... I don't get it, I don't see how that would make any sense in my mind (mine) if I find someone attractive in person, and they obviously are... then, there's just no way that they are going to look THAT BAD in a photography...

"they always seem to look bad" is more like an extreme case of perception...

My husband looks kind of awkward in photos. I married him, so clearly I didn't care. He's gotten better, though so that's good, but even if he didn't I'd ot care.
