Being smart isn't a fixed thing. A once smart 85 year old can easily become dumb if they don't keep up with the times. However, you cannot lose wisdom.

Smart is being knowledgeable and skillful relative to your environment. In other words, you can't actually be smart or dumb. It's all relative. You can always become smarter anyway.

I would say aim to learn wisdom. All wisdom can be found in the Laws of nature. Everything that happens, happens by law.

Plus smart isn't the thing that will save you. Your behavior will.

As long as you and her stay as a team and NEVER EVER start viewing each other as enemies you'll probably be fine. It's the second that you view each other as separate teams that all hell breaks loose. That is the biggest killer of relationships.

I could literally tell you how to 100% last the test of time but that requires many more words.

Not being “very smart” academically is not a relationship killer at all. Emotional intelligence, effort, kindness, loyalty, communication… those matter way more. If she respects you, listens to you, and you do the same, you’re solid.

Big red flag would be if she makes you feel stupid, belittles you, or compares you to others. That’s not love, that’s low-key emotional bullying.

Focus on growing, being curious, supporting her, and owning who you are with confidence. Confidence is way sexier than IQ, trust me.
