I have extreme deuteranomaly, a common form of male partial color blindness. My favorite colors to wear are white and grey/silver, and I've never had anyone object to those colors. I never wear pink or salmon and anyone who wants me to wear those colors is going to be disappointed.

I wear black. The SO hates it and buys me shirts that are green, blue, red and so one. I hang them in my closet and put on a black shirt. When asked I say they are too nice to wear so I’ll only wear them to someplace special. Of course I don’t. She gave up

Honestly? I’d keep wearing my favorite color. A healthy partner can dislike a shade without trying to control my style. If they *insist* I wear a color I hate, that’s a mini red flag for control, not preference. Compromise is fine, but changing yourself to avoid “fashion ghosting” from your SO? Nope. I’d probably wear another color. No it’s not cause I’m a bitch of a man, a simp or something like that. It’s not that big of a deal to me to make it into a bigger issue than it is. As I’ve gotten older I’ve learned to fight for what things really matter, this wouldn’t be one of them. It’s brought me so much more peace. Now if I was dating a woman who said either my dogs go or she goes Well I hope she finds someone who doesn’t have dogs because my dogs aren’t going anywhere.

My rule is to never alter my appearance for anyone.
But when it comes to color I don’t have a clear favorite in terms of clothes.


My favorite color would be purple, but purple clothing rarely looks any good.


So I could consider switching it up to find things that look good.


I noticed that the more I open my mind about colors in clothing the better I’m able to look.

I'd consider it sometimes if on certain occasions it was going to really stress out the person, although this is the dumbest thing to be upset about.

Other than that I'm wearing what color I want. I don't dress like an imbecile so she would have to be just learn to get over it. This isn't something to dwell over.

If a SO wanted me to wear a color I hated, I might depending on the circumstance. I don't care about these kinds of things at all.
