What is your MOST HATED COLOR?

Question

Every few months, someone on G@G asks the question "What is your favorite color?" This post asks the opposite question... What is your MOST HATED color? In other words... What color do you rarely, if ever, wear? What color would you never paint your house? What color gives you an upset stomach when you see it? Please tell us in an opinion below, why it's your MOST HATED COLOR, and if you've ever had any negative experiences with it.

White, I hate the color white. (And no, it has nothing to do with the human species.) I hate the color white because of living in rentals for most of my life. White, white, white everywhere and everything was white. The appliances, fixtures, walls, and trim.

When I bought my home the first thing I did was paint every single room in my "new" (I bought the house that I'd been renting for years) home a color other than white. Others might say my house is an eyesore, but I love my home of many colors!

Probably baby blue and baby pink. A lot of people don't like Chartreuse, but a 69-70 Dodge Challenger or Plymouth Barracuda looks great in that color. A lot of people don't like mustard yellow. Supposedly dune researchers determined that mustard yellow rooms can make some people lose their temper hahaha

I dont hate any color. Hate is a big word for a harm less color. But Some color are not beautiful like greyish green. Its gloomy. Or yellowish white. They r bleak and reminds me of illnesses or confinment

I’ve actually never thought about this question before. It seems rather trivial yet very interesting to dive into.
Can I say I don’t have one? Because I’ve never looked at hating a colour.
For example, I hate an orange shirt and I’d never wear one, yet I actually find the colour orange to be attractive in its own right and on purses and sandals.

Hot pink.

I've never really liked pink (salmon pink is the exception). It's... Visually loud.

But my biggest reason to hate it is the time my high school biology prof only had neon shades of paper to use to print our exam booklets.

An hour of looking at hot pink paper... I saw a rectangle when I blinked for the rest of the day and half our class had headaches by the end.

It just etched a deep dislike into my brain.

Wearing a colour and painting a house are very different things! But I would have to say I enjoy all the colours, but certain shades are unappealing to me. For example, I do like butter yellow, but dislike bright, sunny yellow. I like army green, but don't like kelly green. I like powder blue and navy blue, but not indigo or royal blue. I could go on. I guess it's more like I dislike bright shades (for clothing), and prefer matted, more dull shades.

For me it's Black because I mostly think of how people where black to funerals and also because I used to wear a lot of black and looking back it was during my very dark times when I was severely depressed so when I see the colour makes me feel sad
